The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although it fails to convey the soft, silky texture of the Japanese paper visible in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is laid on paper which is laid on board. All four edges are deckled. Very close inspection reveals some adhesive residue on the reverse, visible in transparency intermittently along the extreme outer edges, which occurred from the mounting process. All other surface irregularities are inherent to the artist's choice of medium and working process.
