Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the strip of sky towards the upper edge tends more towards a true white in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places, which is laid on board. The lower and right edges are deckled, with an associated extremely short and unobtrusive year to the right edge approximately 10cm from the lower right corner. There are artist's pinholes to the upper two corners and centre of the upper edge of the upper sheet, and to all four corners of the lower sheet. Close inspection reveals two minute circular media accretions towards the upper edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
