The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the yellow is deeper and slightly more muted in the original
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear to the extreme outer edges and the corner tips. Very close inspection reveals a thin and unobtrusive hairline crack to the yellow pigment towards the center of the upper edge. Further extremely close inspection reveals a few further very thin and stable cracks isolated in the dark pigment in a few places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
