The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the tonality of the burlap is lighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals two tiny broken impasto peaks towards the centre of the composition, and a small number of very fine and unobtrusive drying cracks to the edges of some the folds, which are in keeping with the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
