Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a few tiny and unobtrusive rub marks and pinprick-sized media accretions scattered in isolated places. Further very close inspection reveals stable and very thin hairline drying cracks in the upper two corners and a minute tension crack running intermittently along the extreme outer edges. The canvas is slightly slack. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals four tiny circular spots of darker fluorescence towards the centre of the composition.
