Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although they fail to convey the texture apparent in the original and there is more contrast. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few hairline cracks in isolated places, mainly to the black and white paint. Only visible when examined out of its frame, there are some fine tension cracks running intermittently along the extreme outer edges. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
