the icon and oklad in the 17th-century style, Moscow, 1885, 84 standard, struck with obscured initials, possibly the Cyrillic initials IZ for Ivan Vasilievich Zakharov

Condition

the icon in excellent condition, with some very small areas of rubbing from the back of the oklad and darkening from later layers of levkas; the oklad with some splitting to the edges consistent with age
