Description

the tall shaped back rests with pierced splat and carved shell cresting, shaped seats with woven cane panels, on cabriole legs carved with back scrolls; redecorated

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy although the back of one is slightly unstable. Reblocked. Old minor marks, chips and scratches and some very minor losses to the carved sections which are not too noticeable. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active. There are some old minor repairs generally including but not exclusively the splats and the top rail of another.
