on mythological dragon arms with two candlearms and on a ribbed centre pillar with acanthus, two handled Romanesque bowl, fluted with embossed borders and square base, mounted on a verde antico marble plinth, fitted with a tôle shade with lyre and wreath appliques; drilled for electricity
Condition
In overall very good condition. The quality of the gilt-bronze is good and it is of an usual design. The tôle shade would appear to have been repainted. The piece was formerly electrified there is some minor surface dirt which would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There are some demi-lune sections and drill holes in the bobèches.
