Description
- 57.5cm. high, 91cm. wide, 51.5cm. deep; 1ft. 10¾in., 3ft., 1ft. 8¼in.
with a removable lead liner above ebonised paw feet
Condition
Signs of shrinkage along construction joints. The brass mounts are finely cast with an attractive patina. The removable lead lining is later, formally used as a jardinière. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use, particular scuffing to the feet. The underside has signs of earlier glue blocks which indicates the feet have been re-positioned or are later altogether.
