- 38cm., 15in. high
the compressed spherical body engraved on one side with a lady's coat-of-arms within a rococo cartouche below further engraving at the shoulders, wood finial to the hinged lid, swing handle with turned wood grip, pierced and cast lampstand with fixed crested burner and unmarked detachable cover
Condition
marked on underside of kettle, kettle lid and underside of burner; the burner cover unmarked. The overall condition is good but with a few small dents and the colour is a little bright. The engraving of the arms, cartouche and crest is later, probably mid 18th Century. The swing handle wood grip is a modern replacement.
