A Louis XVI gilt-bronze mantel clock, Nicolas-Pierre Delunesy, Paris, circa 1780

5¾-inch enamel dial signed Delunesy A Paris, bell striking movement with star cut outside count wheel, anchor escapement with silk suspension, flat bottomed plates signed on a the backplate De Lunsey A Paris, the drum flanked by a classical female figure and a putto, the base depicting putti engaged in the arts and sciences, the acanthus corners on paw feet

Dial has old damage and repair at X but otherwise good. Movement is complete and looks as though it would run but would benefit from a clean. Case has some heavy cleaning/restoration and is possibly later associated to the movement and dial, one finial detached but we have it. With pendulum and a winder.
