the standing immortal with arms raised holding peach branch, his face with a gentle smile, all supported on a rocky plinth, the stone of a beige tone with mottled deep red inclusions, traces of pigment

Condition

One foot had been broken and restuck. The lower section of the peach branch is lost. There are other smaller losses around the extremities such as the hems of the robe and the edges of the leaves. General loss to the pigments due to surface wear. The stand is incised with a three character inscription reading ri shiwu (Day Fifteen), minor chips to extremities.
