Description

  • porcelain and metal
brightly painted to the interior with four Daoist figures offering a tray with two cups to two ladies, all set in a garden landscape with birds and insects amongst flowers

Condition

The large dish is in overall good condition. The rim has some small chips/ minor fritting. There are short firing cracks and shallow chips along the foot. There are general enamel wear and surface scratches. Minor glaze firing imperfections include burst glaze bubbles and iron spots. The dish mounted with metal.
