Harlequin perhaps modelled by J. F. Eberlein after a model by J. J. Kändler, seated playing the bagpipes, wearing a pointed hat, patterned tunic with playing cards and chequer pattern and turquoise knee breeches, the lady seated playing the hurdy-gurdy, wearing a plumed hat, yellow and puce bodice, white skirt and flower patterned dress, each on a mound base applied with flowers and leaves, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, some restoration,

Condition
Harlequin - restoration to hat, bagpipes, right cuff, rosette on right knee, bow on left shoe, leaves on base. Minor chips to little finger of right hand and to left cuff. Possibly some re-gilding.
Lady- restoration to feather in cap.minor restoration and chips to leaves and flowers on the base.
