- 29cm., 11 1/2 in. wide
after a model by J. J. Kändler and F. E. Meyer, the tripod tray shell-moulded and picked out in pink and green and painted with flower sprays, set with a pounce pot and inkwell as kneeling boys in ruffed costume, at the back an Oriental kneels on a cushion reading from a book inscribed in Greek, shaded by an acolyte holding a parasol, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, minor chips, some restoration,
Condition
The pounce boy's head and ruff and the parasol sprayed over and presumably restored. The handle and material of the parasol also sprayed. The raised edges of the tray below the group has minor chips.
