painted on each side with a quatrefoil panel of a harbour scene, reserved on a powder-blue ground, the interior with a purpurmalerei harbour scene within a quatrefoil frame filled with Böttger lustre, embellished in iron-red and purple scrollwork, gilt border to the rim, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's mark for Grund senior (Ruckert, 1966, p.43),

Condition

There is a short hairline crack on the rim, measuring approximately 0.5cm long with an associated area of re-gilding on the rim.
