with an arched cresting centred by a stylised scallopshell flanked by berried laurel and cross ribboned border above a pair of doors surmounted by a stylised scallopshell, floral trails and acanthus above grilles a Vitruvian scroll panel above a further rectangular panel with a raised tablet with concave corners with a circular boss with curved stiles surmounted by a floral spray enclosing ten silk covered shelves on a platform base with bracket feet; redecorated
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. The colour is darker and more attractive than the catalogue photograph. There are old marks, scratches throughout consistent with age and use. There are some minor losses to the painting and gilding. With age and construction cracks to the decoration throughout. Half of the hinge to the top left of the front cupboard door is missing.
