  • 81cm. high., 106cm. wide., 52cm. deep; 2ft. 10in., 3ft. 5½in., 1ft. 8½.
with a rectangular peach and white veined black marble top with Sienna marble banding above a bombe and serpentine frieze with three frieze drawers the central drawer fitted with compartments on addorsed winged female s-scroll supports carved with acanthus the whole with raised gilt-wood mouldings and applied with carved acanthus sprays and flowers

Condition

Overall in good conserved condition. The colour is slightly darker overall than in the catalogue photograph. There are some scattered age cracks and construction cracks generally which can be filled or left according to taste. The left and right drawers are stiff and need easing. With old marks, scratches and marks consistent with age and use. The gilding has been varnished in places and worn to the red bole in parts. Most of the wings on the supports have been restored. There is evidence of minor worm which appears to be no longer active.
