Description

  • 19.5cm., 7 3/4 in. high
in George II style, die-stamped and loaded, square bases incurved at the angles, complete with nozzles, the undersides stamped: 'LAMBERT 12 COVENTRY ST'

Condition

marks and overall condition good, but the sticks have various small bumps and scratches; the loading is secured by circular metal plates, one of which is lifting; the nozzles, which should be detachable, are now stuck. The actual manufacturers of the sticks was probably Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd of Sheffield; Lambert & Co were retail goldsmiths
