  • Silver
comprising: a shaped oval toilet box, on four supports, gilt interior, Johann Jakob Priester II, Augsburg, 1713-1717, 10.5cm., 4 1/8in wide; three German sugar boxes and a tea caddy engraved ‘Thee,’ another tea caddy, maker’s mark ‘BUNSEN,’ Hanover, circa 1800, oval and oblong, and three similar Austrian sugar or tea boxes, mid-late 19th Century, 12.5-15cm., 5-6in. wide; a beaded oval tea caddy, maker’s mark overstruck by that of D. & J. Wellby, London, 1890; two cigarette boxes with cedar linings, A. & J. Zimmerman and Walker & Hall Ltd., Birmingham and Sheffield, 1907 and circa; and a rectangular sandwich box, monogrammed, marks rubbed, London, 1834; also a cut-cornered rectangular tea caddy in George I style, marks rubbed, London, 1898; and a small gadroon-bordered square stand, marks rubbed

Condition

One very worn, the others in overall good condition apart from minor dents commensurate with use.
