- beechwood, walnut
each with a cartouche shaped padded back above padded downscrolled arms, serpentine seat on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet, the moulded frame carved with flowers and leaves
Condition
In overall good conserved condition.
First chair:
Joints sound and sturdy. Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage.The feet have been cut and heightened. The rear side rails show evidence of previous upholstery.
Second chair:
Joints sound and sturdy. Old minor marks chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage. Evidence of previous upholstery to rear side rails. Some minor construction cracks at joints which are normal and can be left
