the interior painted with a shaped cartouche enclosing peony branches issuing from pierced rocks, all encircled by radiating panels enclosing fruiting sprays and auspicious objects

Condition

Two sections of the rim has restoration (27x8cm and 23x11cm respectively), most probably concealing broken sections of the rim. There are two rim cracks (14cm and 10cm) visible both to the interior and exterior. The foot has a 4.5x1cm chip). The interior has a bump near the centre, and extensive burst glaze bubbles. There is fritting to the rim, as consistent with the period. Other minor firing imperfections.
