- An aviary of nine jewelled parcel-gilt silver and enamel figures of birds, Austro-Hungarian, late 19th/20th century
- silver, enamel, hardstone, pink and blue rubies, beryls, emeralds, rubies
- 6-12 cm., 2 3/8 - 4 1/4 in., high
including a pelican nest, large and small peacocks, pheasants and three other birds, all but one mounted on hardstone bases, apparently unmarked
Condition
Generally good condition; some restoration to enamel.
