Condition

Oil on original canvas. The canvas appears stable. There are some very minor losses to the tips of the raised impasto. The painted surface is slightly uneven in places. There are signs of a possible slight frame abrasion to the canvas towards the lower right vertical edge. There is some surface dirt across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is housed in a painted wooden frame.
