upper drawer with a baize-lined surface sliding to reveal a compartmentalized interior.
Condition
In good condition. Glass replaced. Some minor bruises, scratches, and abrasions consistent with use and age. The attractively figured mahogany has been re-polished at some stage. There are some minor patches to the mahogany. The baize inset mahogany slide is probably a later replacement. A few small chips to edges and corners. Interior fitted and wired for lighting. Shelves and interior are now backed with silk. The cornice has some ingrained blackening to carved details, there are some old fractures and some on the fretwork is a little crude around the edges, when compared to the high quality of the rest of the piece. There may be replaced elements and re-construction to this cornice. Cedar trays. The quality of the piece is very good.
