Condition

Overall in good condition. The enameled brass with surface scratches, rubbing to the patina, oxidation and light discolorations, consistent with the natural aging process of the material and regular use. The table retains small trace amounts of the original highly saturated coloration of the enameled surfaces, with green and blue highlights. The second signature to the right portion of the table appears to be a later addition. The table top depicts a chinoiserie motif of an elegant domestic garden scene with figures entering an open-plan architectural space within a landscape. A nice small scale example of the form executed in great artistic detail.
