Condition

Large areas of carpet have faded and have stains and discolorations, as visible in catalogue illustration. Some losses to needlework scattered throughout; dark browns with losses due to oxidation; other areas with losses now with restitching, and in border the restitched areas are more visible as they have not faded to the extent of the original wools. Small, 2 inch in diameter, cobbled repaired hole one end. Linen backing sewn to reverse. Sound fabric and condition; will enhance with cleaning and some restoration.
