A Regency revival Chinese lacquer-mounted four poster bedstead late 19th/early 20th century

This impressive bed is good quality and the lacquered surface to the pelmet is good. It is of an aged appearance. There are minor losses to corners of joints of the pelmet. the bedhead is generally good. It will require a new mattress and box base. The painted surfaces are scuffed and there is wear to these revealing timber and gesso. The textile components are good but will benefit from a clean. The drapes will require new fixings to the pelmet.
