A set of twelve Neoclassical parcel-gilt and mahogany armchairs in the manner of Bellanger comprising one first quarter 19th century armchair, two composed of early 19th century elements and nine later copies

The older chairs with some minor worm damage. Sun damage to wood. Leather with some light scratches and occasional stains. Usual chips and abrasions to edges. Gidling with chips to gesso mainly to lion head terminals and losses and wear to gilding. Some later inpainting to earlier chips.
