Condition

The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks due to age and use. The gilding is very slighty tarnished. Apollo's head was probably ornated with a sun which is now missing. A small star is also missing on the base (see illustration). Dial is a little dirty but otherwise good. Movement is complete, later steel suspension and replaced pendulum, very dirty and needs a clean and service. With pendulum but no winder. Please note that we do not guaranty the working order of the mechanism.
