Catalogue Note
Three chapels were built on Louis-Philippe's command. Saint-Ferdinand's funerary chapel, the Saint-Louis chapel in Tunis and the Dreux chapel. The family had had a first family funerary chapel built in 1816. Louis-Philippe decided to enlargen it in 1839. The tombs were integrated in a vast crypt in 1844, where Louis-Philippe and Marie-Amélie's ashes lie since 1876.
