A minor spot appears on the right on the brown cloth, by the border (visible on the catalogue). Very good condition.

Catalogue Note
Le prince de Joinville découvrit Constantinople à l'automne 1839. Il en fait une longue description dans les Vieux Souvenirs, (éd. 1986, pp. 129-137). Il y retourna plusieurs fois par la suite.
