- Portrait présumé de Marie-Clémentine de Habsbourg-Lorraine, archiduchesse d'Autriche puis princesse de Salerne, à quatre ans
- Porte au dos une inscription en allemand partiellement lisible et datée 1814, datant l'oeuvre de 1802 et citant l'impératrice Marie-Thérèse et la princesse Clémentine.

Condition
The drawing is octogonal, though the paper is rectangular : the borders are painted in grey to give it this shape. Minor chips are missing on the surface, especially on the borders. Small humidity stain appear on the model's dress and in the sky in the upper left. The drawing is in generally good conditon.

D'après l'inscription au dos, l'aquarelle représente Marie-Clémentine de Habsbourg-Lorraine (1798-1881). Elle épousa Léopold-Michel Bourbon des deux Siciles, prince de Salerne (1790-1835). Leur fille, Marie-Caroline-Auguste (1822-1869) épousa le duc d'Aumale en 1844. L'oeuvre peut être attribuée à sa mère, Marie-Thérèse de Bourbon-Sicile, excellente dessinatrice.
Une gouache, exécutée vers 1800-1802, représentant l'empereur et l'impératrice d'Autriche et leurs enfants, dont Marie-Clémentine, est passée dans la vente Tableaux, Mobilier et Livres appartenant à Mgr le Comte de Paris et Madame la Comtesse de Paris, provenant de la Quinta do Ajinho, Sotheby's Monaco, les 14 et 15 décembre 1996, lot 13.

From the inscription on the back, the watercolor represents Marie-Clémentine de Habsbourg-Lorraine. She will marry Léopold-Michel Bourbon des deux Siciles, prince de Salerne. Their daughter, Marie-Carloline-Auguste will be wed to the duc d'Aumale in 1844. The work may be attributed to her mother, Marie-Thérèse de Bourbon-Sicile, who was an excellent drawer. Sotheby's presented a gouache representing the emperor and the impress of Austria and their children, amongst which Marie-Clémentine, on December 14th and 15th 1996, in Mocano, lot 13.
