Condition

Waist seams have been let out. The pleats over the puff sleeves, underarm areas and bodice side seams have all been let out to give extra width. And there are no pleats left at the underarms. The pleats on the bodice and waist have been widened to give extra width. There is a 3cm diam hole at the left underarm and the silk jersey in this underarm area has been sewn to conceal large ladders. The integral brown crepe waist slip is soiled in appearance and has also been altered to widen. Armholes have been widened. The pleats along approx 10cm of the front waist need re-stitching. The velvet areas are generally good- slight soiling to hem edge. Jersey areas are generally good apart from the underarm areas. Later added brown velvet ribbon belt. b.approx 92cm, 36in, the waist is partly unpleated and is approx 76cm, 30in
