Condition

Beading and sequins are good – no obvious losses. The ivory silk tulle ground is entirely covered with silver vermicular threads and these are also lustrous and good. Approx 7cm long upper edge of tulle on rear skirt needs re-stitching. Perspiration stains to café au-lait silk lining at the underarms on both the organza bodice and silk petticoat below. Skirt side seams have been let-out. A new zip has been inserted. On the front of the skirt there are two dark brown stains on the silk petticoat and the over layer of white organza. However the uppermost embroidered tulle layer does not show the stain due to the adornments. The stains on the lower fabric layers still shows through. b.81cm, 32in, w.71cm 28in no 2859
