Description

  • huanghuali
the slightly waisted cylindrical body rising from a flat base, the wood strikingly figured with irregular concentric circles and of a rich warm patina

Provenance

Purchased from Hei Hung-Lu, Hong Kong, late 1980s/early 1990s.

Condition

This well figured brushpot is in good condition with the exception of a circa 4 x 6mm., shallow old flake to the edge of the foot and very minor nicks to the edge of the rims.
