  • Jade with silver clip
carved in low relief on one side with a slender flowering orchid plant emerging from the side of a rocky cliff, the reverse carved with a low-relief inscription reading xiang cong you gu lai (fragrance comes from deep valleys), the upper center pierced with an aperture flanked by symmetrical scrolls, the smoothly polished stone of even white color, the flower and scrolling repeated on the silver clip-from mount

The plaque is in overall good condition, with some minor nicks along the edge. The plaque has not been examined out of its mount.
