the shallow rounded sides with lipped rim resting on a footrim of narrow wedge-shaped section, covered overall with a copper-red glaze of a mottled grayish-pink suffused in the center with pale green flecking, the white-glazed base with a six-character apocryphal Xuande mark in underglaze blue within a double circle
