Description

  • Height: 23 3/4 inches; 60.3 cm
finely modeled standing on a lotus leaf base above cresting waves, wearing a long robe tied at the waist and open at the chest revealing a beaded necklace, the hair tied in an elaborate topknot behind a tiara, the left hand holding the skirt hem, right hand holding a wicker basket, the back with an impressed Wanli six-character mark within a square below an impressed double-gourd seal bearing the characters Fujian Dehua zhizao

Condition

There is a break to the diadem and some minor nicks along the edges of the rob, as well as small chips to the tips of the waves along the base. The figure has firing cracks to the base and some smaller typical firing cracks.
