each with rounded sides rising to a broad everted rim, the reddish-brown lacquer painted in gilt around the exterior with a continuous landscape, the rims with reserves of chilong on a diaper ground, with wood stands (4)

Condition

One bowl with one overpainted chip to rim, consolidation to lifting lacquer around rim and re-gilt in areas, the foot ring with restored chips. The other bowl with some consolidation to cracks in the lacquer, the most noticeable being a semi-circular knock to the underside below the rim; the foot ring with some chips and flaking lacquer and some re-gilt areas.
