each with a yoke-shaped crest rail terminating in truncated ends, set above a plain S-shaped rectangular backsplat of matched grain and undulating backposts, set upon the hard cane seat secured within a rectangular molded frame to the legs joined by a cusped and outlined apron in the front and plain arched stretchers along the sides and back, all above the stepped base stretchers and footrest (2)

The pair of chairs each with a filled repair to the back of the seat frame. There is a chip to one front leg at the base. Possible replacement of aprons and stretchers.
