both of cylindrical form, one carved in the form of a three-node section of bamboo, the concave tiers divided by finely incised internodes; the other rising from a stepped foot to a stepped mouth, the wood well-figured and of an attractive reddish-brown color (2)

Condition

The 'bamboo' brushpot has two filled splits one from the base and one from the rim. The other has a filled repair to a chip and some very small nicks to the rim.
