of baluster form and quatrefoil section, tapering sharply at the keyfret-pattern base, the body carved with prunus and peach branches, with smaller peony sprays to the sides, all against a floret diaper ground below ruyi-head lappets at the shoulder, the waisted neck with a frieze of pearls interspersed with a triangular scrolling pattern, the latter and a keyfret band repeated on the everted squared mouth, surmounted by upright loop rings attached to a rectangular swing handle, the stone of a celadon tone with russet inclusions and white veins, wood stand

Condition
The basket is in overall good condition. There are small areas of bruising and tiny chips to the edges, including the rim. There are also areas of pitting as well as natural flaws to the stone.
