Description

  • porcelain
with an everted rim, deftly incised around the sides with two five-clawed dragons chasing a 'flaming pearl' below a foliate scroll at the rim and ruyi encircling the base, all enamelled in green and reserved on a yellow ground, the interior similarly decorated with longevity symbol shou, the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The bowl is in very good overall condition. There are a couple of nicks to the footrim, original to the piece, a small burst air bubble to the interior shou medallion border and a few light scratches to the underside.
