each overlaid on the opaque white ground with a layer of bright translucent blue glass, the vase of baluster form carved with two large taotie masks between pendent leaves and upright ruyi, the rim with beribboned pearls; the bowl with an everted barbed rim, similarly decorated with archaistic masks between confronting kui dragons

Condition

The vase is in good condition. There is a 0.8cm. shallow flake to the mouthrim, minute occasional wear or nibbling along the edge. The bowl is in good condition with some light occasional surface scratches wear and expected wear underneath the base.
