each of ogee form rising from a straight foot, the exterior enamelled in coral-red and painted in gilt with floral sprays, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark 

Condition

There are two small restored flakes under the rim of one, most likely resulting from the bowl having been attached to metal mounts for suspensions, the size of the largest of approx. 0.8 cm. There is also some small contractions to the base and some minor misfiring to the glaze. The other bowl is of overall good condition, with only light rubbing to the gilded decoration and occasional imperfections in the glaze typical of the type.
