rendered with skilful precision and detail, with two scenes divided by tall verdant trees, each depicting figures in a busy courtyard between two pavilions, raised on a foot reticulated with floriated vines, the cover with concentric bands of ornate carving and surmounted by a lion finial
Condition
The vase is overall in good condition, there is no obvious chip although some occasional minor nicks might be expected to the carving. The base is somewhat warped and distorted. There are a few tiny nicks to the petals of the flower, but overall in good condition. The little dog finial can be unscrewed (original to the piece).
