- agate and rock crystal
the well hollowed rock crystal of flattened globular form raised on a low foot, with S-shaped handles below a fitted cover surmounted by a recumbent smiling beast; the hollowed-out agate with tawny variegated outer skin cleverly carved as an aged prunus tree extending gnarled branches around the vessel
Condition
Both are overall in good condition. The agate with some nibbling along the mouth, and light surface scratches. The rock crystal with few occasional nicks around the foot, mouthrim, and finial.
