the stand boldly cast in the form of a recumbent xiniu with its head turned towards its back, the head detailed with large eyes and a long curved horn flanked by a pair of furled ears, the back depicted with a caparison surmounted by a crescent-shaped mirror-holder, the bronze of a dark brown colour with traces of gilding, wood stand; the circular mirror cast in the centre with a knop and bordered with lança characters
